Will Power byl v druhém tréninku nejrychlejší, následovaný duem pilotů Target Chip Ganassi Racing. Ale podle vlastních slov na nejrychlejší čas dosáhl především díky tomu, že v závěru vyjel na nové sadě pneumatik. Za Powerem, Dixonem a Franchittim se umístil domácí James Hinchcliffe.
